I know I am a bad blogger - I admitt it! There, I said it out loud!! I think about it all the time and just never get there to do it or make time. I take picturess of stuff I want to share, bookmark them online of cool stuff I see and it just never makes it here.
Well, I went back to work full time in August as the school as a Librarian for the school my daughter goes to - it's a Private Pre 3- 12th grade school. Not too big - perfectly perfect in every way. So I have had my hands full to say the least. Not to mention some adjustments in my hubby's work schedule - so my hands really are FULL!
I am hoping to figure things out and how to juggle all of it better as the year goes on. Right? SURE!! I hope.
Another blog I have fallen IN LOVE with is this one! Craftily Every After by Miss Jessica. She is always coming up with sweet ideas or posting printables - I LOVE THE KEEP CALM ONES!!!! She has a great Christmas one she just posted that I just might have to make a drive to the big city to get some supplies!

Today is an amazing day for me as a Mommy and even moreso for Miss Priss as a 3rd grader!
She made 100 AR Points today! Something she came close to in 1st grade at the end of the whole school year, but never quite made it. Last year in 2nd grade tried really hard, but just wasn't there.
So today in November with tons of school time left she made 100 points.
The sky is the limit now!!
Her Daddy and I are so proud of her!
Way to go my little Super Reader!!!

We've had a change of plans - ha! I am no longer teaching art BUT the Librarian now at Southampton Academy!
Overwhelmed at first at the thought of switching- TOTALLY elated about the switch after digging in!
I have perged the library and rearranged and dreamed of books galore!
I even got to pre-order THE MOCKINGJAY by Suzanne Collins this week. This is the 3rd book in her triliogy The Hunger Games which was the summer read for 7th-12th grade.
Watch for pictures of my "new home"! They will be coming as soon as I am finished tweaking it all!

Biscuit isn't totally lovin' the new kitchen like the rest of us!! That is due to the new tile that she isn't too keen about walking on.
I put this HUGE old quilt down for Maddie to play on cuz she wants to be in her ALL the time like me ... but I think Biscuit is very thankful for the quilt so part of the time she doesn't have to walk on the tile.
She is such the baby!!

She hates to hardwood floors as well and only the old sewing room now family room and my bedroom have carpet. Poor pup!
Hope she'll get used to it and love it as much as the cat does! She comes in and stretches out on it these hot days forever.

Friday we finished a week of Cheer Camp - Maddie cheering and Me driving and loving all her happiness and excitement!!
I want to thank East Coast Rage formerly Spirit All Stars in Suffolk, Va. What a great experience!
Susan, Rachel, Haley, Mollie & Kayleigh - you girlies rocked!!
It's - almost done! All the major stuff is in and complete now - except the sink and hooking up the dishwasher! (Hopefully that will happen this week - no sink sucks!)
I am so psyched!!!! It is so beautiful!!! Even my Daddy loves it and he was totally not sold on the colors when I picked them out - now he wants to tear up his kitchen - ha!
The one thing left to do is get stools - I ordered them before the island was in and the ones I got are too tall :(
(See the one next to door - too tall. Short stool was for the desk part which is right behind the tall stool)
So will be ordering new stools just like the tall one, but shorter version - ONLY PROBLEM is Madison and JE want the little stools with no backs and I want backs. Hmmm? Now I am so confused- LOL!!! Just a problem, right? Well I have waited so long and want it all so right!
Will post more pictures later of all the cool things that are hidden behind those cabinet doors!
Enjoy your sneak peek!!
Can't wait to have everyone over after the other rooms are put back together! :)

This is the picture I submitted! Maddie "Bed Surfing" when we went to the Miley Concert last Nov. What great fun ... even I did it. I am pretty sure the people down stairs didn't like it, but I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard!!!!

This is my life since MARCH!!!! Yeah, you heard right!!! MARCH!!!
I still have no cabinets, BUT am suppose to get those installed this coming Friday!!! It can't get here fast enough either!!!
Of course I am tickled to death, but we still have several hurdles ---- floor to be measured for the new flooring, flooring installed, counter tops measured, counter tops installed, the appliances delivered and hooked up and then the touch up paint, shoe molding and crown molding!
So as I hit the big hurdle Friday there are several more to come which I pray will be speedier than the cabinets!
So this week I shall clean out the kitchen to make room for my lovely cabinets and clean out the old sewing room which will then become our family room.
Wonder where all the mess will go???
So busy week cleaning and trips to the pool sandwiched in there as well.
Maybe in a few weeks I will be able to actually cook and pull out the real dishes again!! Yes we have used paper plates and plastic utensils since March as well!
